Homeward Bound

Our Last Day

We docked in the beautiful harbor of Vancouver, Canada at about 8am. After eating breakfast and waiting for our number to be called, we disembarked the ship before 10 am and boarded a bus and went on a little sight seeing tour of Vancouver. It was a beautiful city to travel through, We did ask the bus driver what gas prices were in Vancouver regular gasoline is well over $5.00/gallon. I guess the US could be worse off.

Once at the airport we waited in a long line to get our luggage. We went to check in our luggage and the Delta worker told us we had to wait 2 1/2 hours before we could check it in. We all went and bought lunch and waited for almost 6 hours for departure. It is a good thing that the Canadians are kind to people at the airport because we needed many luggage carriers. The best thing about it they were--FREE! Here we are standing (covering up) in front of our free luggage carriers.

We had a GREAT time!

Thank you Grandpa Olson
