My World of Wonder/Day 12

The definition of a missionary. . .
Someone who leaves their family for a
SHORT TIME,
so others can be with their families for an
ETERNITY.

Today we had the opportunity to go to our son, Brendon's BFF (yes, guys even have BFF's) Missionary Meeting. It was an amazing meeting. Chase, spoke on the importance of the Book of Mormon and how prayer is an important component of gaining a testimony of the Book of Mormon.

As Chase shared his humble testimony of how he gained his testimony of the Book of Mormon, the Holy Ghost entered the room to bear witness to all of us that what Chase was sharing was truth.

I am grateful for Chase's example and his ability to listen to the Spirit. The Lord is mindful of all of us. The Lord hears and most of all answers prayers through others even when they don't know they are answering someones prayer.

After Chase spoke, the Full-Time Missionaries spoke. How can I not get emotional? To think, my son, is sharing his heartfelt testimony, just as these young men are. It was neat to hear from a young man who is preparing to go on a mission, a Missionary who has been out for 6 months, and one that has been out for 1 year and how it even matures them and helps them to become who they are to become.
