My World of Wonder/Day 13

Monday's are my
FAVORITE
day of the week!
WHY?

This is day I get to hear from Elder Hopkins (aka: Brendon)!!
Here's a little of what is going on with him.
Once you read then you will understand why
Monday's
are my
FAVORITE
day of the week!
"Now on to the mission! The baptism was amazing! I forgot my camera or else I would send you some good pics. The spirit was so strong, after the baptism Jimmy's dad came up and talked to me and Elder Jarvis and told us thank you. He also told us that he has seen a change in Jimmy and we were the ones that really pushed him and made him think. That made us feel really good. But since his dad's inactive we were able to see him reactivated and his son is so happy. The comment was made by one of the ward members that they have really seen the family become more happy and just a difference and its crazy how the spirit works.

Next we are teaching another part-member family and that is Todd and Michelle. She's the member and this wk when we had our appt. she had some enrichment business, so she wasn't able to be there while we were having our lesson with Todd (this is the hunter). Todd was asking alot of questions because he finished the Book of Mormon, so we were answering the questions and it was amazing. It was only the three of us and the spirit was overwhelming all of us! It was so good, and at the end he brought up baptism saying that Michelle and him needed to sit down and they would talk about a date. Later that night we see Michelle at the church and we started telling her about what happened and she just started crying. It was a really neat experience. So, it looks like in about 3 wks give or take Todd is gonna be baptized!"

That letter makes me homesick for a missionary!!!!
He sounds like he's doing such a great job!

Missionaries are the best.

It was sure good to be able to talk to you the other night. Hope work was OK.

You like Monday? Me too. I never work on Monday, it's my favorite.
